REFUND POLICY — OnlineEnglish.lk

Clear. Fair. Transparent.

Because our teaching involves live classes, teacher time, and limited schedules, we maintain different refund rules for Group Classes and Individual (One-to-One) Classes.

Please read the following carefully before enrolling.

GROUP CLASSES (Kids, School Students, Adults Group Programs)

Payments Are Non-Refundable Once Group Classes Begin

A refund cannot be issued once:

you attend the first group class

the monthly schedule is assigned

you confirm your enrollment

the group class starts

Reason:
Group classes require fixed batches, reserved slots, and teacher scheduling.
Your seat affects the entire class capacity.

⭐ Missed classes are not refundable

If a student misses a session:

no refund is given

no reduction of monthly fee

Make-up classes may be arranged only if informed early and depending on availability.

⭐ If OnlineEnglish.lk cancels a group class

We will always provide:

a replacement class

or a rescheduled session

No refunds are issued because the class will still be delivered.

INDIVIDUAL (ONE-TO-ONE) CLASSES — Flexible Refund Policy

We offer a more flexible refund policy for one-on-one students because their schedule is private, personalised, and separate from group classes.

You may request a full refund BEFORE the first class IF:

In this case, we will refund 100% of your payment.

You may receive a partial refund BEFORE completing the course package IF:

We will calculate:

Refund = Total Paid – Classes Already Used

Example:
If a student booked 10 sessions but attended only 4 → Refund is given for 6 remaining sessions.

Refunds cannot be issued if:

We always aim to be fair, but teacher time must be respected.

INTERVIEW TRAINING (Short Courses)

Interview programs are time-sensitive and intensive.

However, before the first session, we allow:

Full refund if the program has not started

Corporate Training

Refunds follow the contract or invoice agreement with the company.

Payment Errors or Duplicate Payments
